SpeedoHealer INSTALLATION

1998-2004 Kawasaki ZX-6R

Note: Use this guide in conjunction with the instructions received with your SH-K01 harness kit.

1.  The parts unpacked (v3.0 standard box with harness)

2.  Place the bike on a paddockstand (optional, but recommended)

3.  Remove the Passenger and Rider seats

4.  Lift the Gas tank as high as possible to have access under it, and support it so it doesn't fall on your hands

5.  Locate the speed sensor plug from the right side of the bike underneath the gas tank (in the green circle).
The plug is black and has yellow, pink and black wires.

6.  Unplug the speed sensor coupler and attach the plug 'n go kit on both connectors

7.  Route the red SH cable to the place you want to install the speedohealer (in my case the front right fairing) but the cable is also long enough to be installed underneath the passenger seat. Secure the cable with tie-wraps.

8.  Remove the top fairing/panel (green arrow) on the right side of the bike (2 hexagon bolts in the green circles)

9.  Attach the speedohealer with a tie-wrap on the main wiring-harness

10. All done installing, now follow the online calculator (or the manual) for adjusting the speedohealer and enjoy the comfort of a speedo which gives actual speed!

I used a gps system to calibrate the speedohealer and on the German autobahn the speedo indicated a speed of 245 kph and the gps..........exactly the same!
(This was not the top speed of the bike because of traffic but still, almost 250 kph for a 636cc machine.......awesome!)
