2006-2008 Kawasaki ZX14 / ZZR1400

Note: Use this guide in conjunction with the instructions received with your SH-K01 harness kit.

1.  Remove left side fairing, including lower section and ram air duct cover. This will ensure adequate access to all wires.

2.  Unbolt coolant reservoir and allow it to hang forward.

3.  Locate speed sensor coupler in behind left side of engine right above front sprocket cover:

4.  Disconnect the speed sensor coupler.
You will need to gently pull the connecter out to be able to separate the weather proof fitting.

5.  Connect in line the Speedohealer wiring harness as per the instructions included with the module:

6.  Route red SH wiring harness forward along existing main bike wiring harness so that the module plug ends up near the left side ram air inlet duct. Use the included nylon tie strap to ensure that the wire harness is secured to the bike wire harness:

7.  Use the on-line calculator to generate the programming instructions for the SH and program the unit.

8.  Attach the included Velcro strips to the duct and the other half to the back of the SH module, then mount the unit:

9.  Re-attach coolant bottle ENSURING that the small ground wire eyelet is grounded to the block via the lower coolant bottle attachment bolt.

10. Re-attach the removed panels and head out for a ride!
