2002-2008 Honda VTX1300 and VTX1800

Note: Use this guide in conjunction with the instructions received with your SH-H03 harness kit.

1.  Locate the Speed Sensor coupler.
Remove the left side cover and you'll find it under the key switch.

2.  Connect the SH harness connectors to the connectors on the bike's harness.

3.  Using longer zip-ties (10"), I found the best location for the control unit was strapping it to the rear upright next to the tool kit behind the left side cover with the wire harness running over the top of the tool box. It's hidden, protected, and easy to access.

4.  Use the on-line calculator to generate the programming instructions.

For the record, -9% corrects the speedo on a stock 2004 VTX 1800R with a new rear tire so that 80 mph indicated is 80 on my radar gun.
