1997-2005 Honda VTR1000F Superhawk / Firestorm

Note: Use this guide in conjunction with the instructions received with your SH-H01 harness kit.

1.  Remove the seat.

2.  The speed sensor coupler is in the dust boot in front of the battery:

3.  Disconnect the 3p speed sensor coupler:

4.  Connect the SH harness:

5.  Route the SH harness along the frame to the location shown below. Plug-in the 4p harness connector:

6.  SH box in tail section of Superhawk:

7.  If you purchased the EXT model, mount the remote button. I mounted it on the clutch line.
Route the remote cable to the location of the unit, then plug-in the 2p connector.

8.  Use the on-line calculator to generate the programming instructions.

9.  Top Speed recalled - what an awesome feature!

I just have to say WOW! This product is so awesome...it was so easy to do and I love the results.

I did a sprocket change on my 2003 Honda VTR1000 Superhawk, I went from a 41 tooth to a 43 tooth. Then I checked its error with my GPS and the speedo showed 90mph at 80mph on the GPS. I used the on-line calculator and installed it last night. Piece of Cake!

After the test ride I showed 80mph at 80mph. And I love the little black button!
