2002-2008 Honda VFR800/A (non-ABS + ABS)

Note: Use this guide in conjunction with the instructions received with your SH-H01 harness kit.

1.  Remove the seat and the left side fairing.

2.  Locate the Speed Sensor coupler. It is in the dust boot pictured below:

3.  Disconnect the speed sensor coupler

4.  Hook up the SH harness

5.  Route the harness to the location of SH. Use the supplied zip-ties to secure the harness.

6.  Place the unit behind the brake fluid reservoir. I used the supplied double sided tape (velcro) to secure the box.

7.  Checked by a Garmin GPS, the indicated speed was 65mph at 60mph actual.
Entering these values to the "Precise" version of the on-line calculator, the calibration factor ended up being -7.7%
After programming, I checked out the speedo at different speeds and it is right on with the GPS!
