SpeedoHealer INSTALLATION
2006-2008 Yamaha FJR1300A/AE/AS
Note: Use this guide in conjunction with the instructions received with your Universal harness kit.
1. You'll need an SH with Universal harness
kit for this bike.
This bike receives the speed signal information through the ABS computer,
therefore the Yamaha SH harness can not be fitted.
Splicing at the ECU is required. Note: signal calibration at this point is safe
and will not interfere with ABS functions.
2. Remove the seat, and locate the ECU coupler. It's a black, 44 pin connector.

Note: some wire colors may be different on FRJ1300A variants, but the color and location of the Signal and Power are as shown.
3. Cut the White/Yellow Signal wire (shown above) about 2 inches (5 cm) away from the connector, then strip off approx. 0.4" (1 cm) insulation from both wire ends.
- Solder the White SH wire to White/Yellow wire (bike harness side)
- Solder the Green SH wire to White/Yellow wire (connector side)
4. Strip off approx. 0.4" (1 cm) insulation
from the Red/White Power wire (see wire location above).
Try to do this without cutting the conductor of the wire.
- Solder the Red SH wire to Red/White wire
5. Use the supplied shrinkable tubes, or electrical tape to insulate the solder joints.
6. Connect the Black SH wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
10. Mount the SH box under the seat with the supplied Velcro strips.
11. Test the SH functions as per the the supplied install instructions.
12. Use the on-line calculator to generate the programming instructions.
