Guys, I just wanted to take the time to write and tell you what an awesome
product you have. I went from package to complete install in less than 30
minutes, to include setting it for my situation. The online calculator makes it
a snap to set up in just minutes. This is a very well made product and I am more
than impressed. You can bet I will get one for every bike I buy from here out.
Bob, SP1
Hi, just sending you an email to thank
you for your great service...It took me about one half an hour to securely
install and test. The unit is well made, the wiring is well protected against
chafing. To say that I am impressed is an understatement. Thank you again for an
excellent product and service.
Mike, CBR1000RR ('05)
The Speedohealer is simply awesome. I
just dropped a tooth on the front sprocket on my 2005 CBR1000RR and just have to
say that the Speedohealer worked precisely as advertised. The most complicated
thing about the installation was removing the OEM connector from its little tab
on the crank case. THIS THING ROCKS. It was a 5 minute installation (not
counting the time it took to remove the bodywork) and the online calculator was
right on the money. Thanks again, guys!
Gregg, ?
Thank you for an exceptional product! I
just installed my speedohealer a couple of days ago. With the detailed
installation instructions I was able to install my new PLUG-N-GO in about 15
minutes (I had the plastics off for some other work)! The online calculator is
AWESOME! It was SO EASY to program the changes that needed to be made for the
speedo/odo error AND changes that I made to my gearing. My speed and odometer
are now accurate. The top speed recall is nuts! Thank you again!
Bob, ZZR1400 / ZX14 ('06)
Last weekend I ran my
Kawasaki ZZR1400 in a top speed event. I tried a few different SH settings and
settled on the "convert kph to mph" mode of switch #2. I did this because the
ZZR1400 has an inner kph scale on it's speedo (USA model) and that setting simply converted
this inner scale into a 300mph speedo. For normal road riding I will leave it in
transparent mode.
The weekend was a
great success, I smashed the previous Class 1 record for showroom stock bikes at
190.4mph, electronically timed and came 2nd in that class. The Speedo Healer has
done everything I hoped it would.
Brock, ZZR1400 / ZX14 ('06)
I just returned from the Maxton Mile
land speed event where we used the Speedo Healer to officially break 200 MPH on
our ZX-14! We believe this is the first time a ZX-14 OFFICIALLY broken 200.
Thank you for your help in this accomplishment! (BrockRacing)
Jim,
FZ1 ('06)
Just a quick note to add my accolades
for your product, Speedohealer! It was extremely simple to install on my new
2006 FZ1, took up almost no space and the on-line calculator made it duck soup
to calculate the correction factor. I knew that my GPS was indicating 54 when
the stock speedometer was reading 60. This was after installing a one tooth
smaller sprocket on the front. Upon entering the data, it generated instructions
which took approximately 30 seconds to execute on the Speedohealer and PRESTO!
Done. Took it for a test ride and GPS and speedometer now read exactly the same.
Great Product and will save me some money on the sale or trade-in of the bike
for sure since there will now be no excess mileage on it…
Mark, VTX1300R ('05)
Hi folks, I needed to let you know how
impressed I am with the Speedohealer. I have a 2005 Honda VTX1300R and the
speedometer read 10 mph high 70 mph and 6 mph high at 30 mph. I received the
Speedohealer in a short time and installed it and it really works. All speeds
are perfect. I always thought the people that I would ride with were speeding
and my speedometer was off. I called Honda and they said that if it was 10 mph
off that it was within specs. If I did not like it I could buy an aftermarket
product to repair it. That is when I found the Speedohealer. Thank you for an
excellent product!
Budd, AN650 ('03)
I'm happy and grateful to report that my
SH works like a charm! It's dead accurate (comparing with my little GPS) up to
68 MPH indicated, and, as you warned, about 1 MPH fast above that, due to lack
of speedo linearity.. I can certainly live with that. Heyy, it's almost eerie
having that speedo tell the truth for once. I'm a happy camper, and don't care
who knows it. Thanks for your help in calibration.
Donald, GSX-R1000 ('03)
..you make a great product, it was very
easy to program and worked fantastic. I was able to set it so that my speedo
matches a GPS receiver exactly. That's much better than the 8.5% error that the
speedo came with from the factory. This unfortunately causes my odometer to
under-read by 1%-2%, but that's not enough that I'm going to worry about
it...Once again, thank you very much for the excellent product and even MORE
excellent customer service!
Dan, GSX-R1000 ('03)
Thanks for your help. The recalibration
is done and the product works great. I used my GPS to perfectly adjust my speedo.
Now it is right on the $. Thank you for such a great product.
Roger, FZ1 ('04)
After 25 years and 350-400 thousand
miles of riding (BMW's) this is absolutely the best support ever! Thanks!
Eric, R1 ('04)
I just wanted to let you know how great
I think your product is. It works flawlessly and is very easy to program and
use. Its one of the best upgrades I can think of. It is a fantastic buy for the
price you charge for it as well. Great job! I have a 04 R1 and measured my
speedo error using a GPS. It is off ~ 6.5% using the stock gearing and tires
(half worn) @ 70 MPH. The speedo does not appear to be 100% linear in its error,
though it is pretty close. Thanks again.
Michael, ?
Just wanted to thank you for a GREAT
product. I recently purchased a Speedohealer (Yamaha model) from xxx and am more
than pleased with your product. Installation and calibration was flawless.
John, R6 ('01)
Hey, I just bought my speedohealer and
installed it on my 01 R6. Thanks for making such a great product!
Patrick, ZZR600 ('06)
Thank you For Making An
Excellent Product!
I own a 2006 Kawasaki ZZR600J and i
recently purchased your speedo healer with a harness kit. And you talk about
Easy Installation!! This only took me a little over an hour to completely
install and to program. With the help of your online calculator and a few known
denominations i was complete. Now i know how fast i am going and my odometer is
correct. Thank you for making an excellent product!! I have Recommended this to
everyone i know!!!
Lesley, ?
I really love the speedohealer very
much. You guys have a great product that is well put together and very
professional.
Larry, ZX-10R
I ordered the SpeedoHealer for my
Kawasaki ZX10R with the factory wiring kit. Very nice, the unit works great.
Chris, ?
I purchased your product from xxx after
talking with them about my dissastisfaction with my YellowBox product, which
suffers from "speed jumping" plus or minus 3mph at 65+ MPH or greater. It was
increasingly annoying to watch your speedometer jump from 65, to
63...64..63...66..64... several times per second. xxx assured me they'd heard no
such complaints regarding the SpeedoHealer and assured me I'd be happy with the
product. They were absolutely right!
Your product is cheaper than a YellowBox,
performs more reliably, and possesses the superior mathematical properties.
Definitely a good purchase. Thanks for a great product.
Bobby, VTR1000F ('03)
I just have to say WOW! This product is
so awesome...it was so easy to do and I love the results. I did a sprocket
change on my 2003 Honda VTR1000 Superhawk, I went from a 41 tooth to a 43 tooth.
Then I checked its error with my GPS and the speedo showed 90mph at 80mph on the
GPS. I used the on-line calculator and installed it last night. Piece of Cake!
After the test ride I showed 80mph at 80mph. And I love the little black button!
Courtney, Z1000 ('04)
My speedohealer has arrived. Thank you
very much i am very impressed with it. You will be getting a lot more orders now
all of my mates have seen it! Thank you again.
Farley, R1 ('04)
Dyno
run was perfect, the dealer was impressed, 50 at 50, 100 at 100 and so on to 200
kms. I am very happy, thanks for you help, a great product!!!!
John, ?
I have your product on my motorcycle and
L O V E it !
Capt Garvin, VFR800 ('02)
Hey Guys, Just wanted to let you know I
received your Speedhealer very quickly, and only difficulty was where to put it.
The Interceptor does not have room to spare. I mounted it under the seat support
at the gas tank, facing downward with Velcro. Setting up went perfect using GPS
and the towns police radar. After a half hour of riding to get settled GPS
readings, there was only 0.1 MPH difference on my first try so thats where it
stays. Thanks again.
Chris, ?
I purchased and installed one of your
Speedohealers, MUCH better product over the YellowBox.
Joe, Hayabusa ('01)
i
was setting my spedo healer last night to my new settings of -31.1%. well youll
be pleased to know i ran my hayabusa on a dyno today and im pleased to say i was
within 1mph on the dyno. i was reading 99mph, and the dyno said i was doing 100
and let me tell you the guy running the dyno was very impressed too.
Wally, kit car with Hayabusa engine
This speedo re-calibrator is an
absolutely amazing tool - great for bike kit cars
John, Suzuki
Thanks a bunch for the prompt help and replies :-) I wish more businesses were
like yours... If you ever have any other products for bikes I'll be first in
line to do some purchasing.....thanks again.
Chris, 600RR ('05)
Thanks again for great service and a
great product, by far the easiest on the market to fit and set up! I had a
'yellow box' on another bike, what a nightmare!!!
Simon, ZX10R
I
have installed the speedo healer and found it to be working just fine. My friend
also bought one for his CBR1000 Fireblade, and after independently calibrating
our bikes with different GPS, on a recent ride together they were 100% accurate
against each other, not even 1 km/h out! I am most impressed.
Nuno
Van-deste, CBR1000RR
Just to say that i'm very
happy with the product. Simple installation, good instructions and wiring is
with a very good quality! The shipping was very good and the product arrives in
my home in time with no delays....I'm really impressed!
Marc, ZX-12R ('03)
Thank you so much for the information.
This by far has been the best customer service that I have experienced in a long
time. It's very refreshing and very pleasing to know that there are still
companies willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Thank you and please
keep up the good work.
Mike, CBR1000RR ('05)
First hand i can say you guys have an excellent
company, with a great product and world class customer service! Thanks Again!
Len,
VTX1300R
Installed your product on my 1300R VTX
the day after I received it... what a difference it makes. The speedometer is
right on the money at all speeds and I couldn't be happier.
Scott, R6 ('05)
Just
wanted to let you guys know that the Speed Healer is a great piece, I changed
sprocket sizes on my 2005 R6, the SH is just sooooo easy to set and is dead
accurate, took me all of 1 min to set. good job on an Awesome product!
George, Hayabusa
Thank you again for your prompt response
and time spent in explaining the procedure. I was able to load and view your
on-line calculator and arrived at the same figures you provided. It was a
pleasure working with a company and individuals who know the difference between
Customer Service and Customer Care.
Simon, CBR900RR ('98)
I wanted to take a moment to thank you
and your company for designing and manufacturing the 'SpeedoHealer' speedometer
calibrator. Now, I have a perfectly working, completely accurate, linear
speedometer on my bike that can be easily custom calibrated for any sprocket
combination I want to install in future!
Your customer service, product knowledge
and attention to detail are excellent! I thoroughly recommend your product, and
will do so to whomever I meet in future that rides a motorcycle!
Harry Y., Suzuki
WOW! I am retired Law Enforcement of 30+ years. I have two motorcycles. After
changing sprocket teeth number and chain, I ended up with a 14% speedo error.
Found myself riding my Suzuki less because of the distraction. Had looked at the
Yellow Box, but did not like the idea of having to cut into my wiring! Installed
your plug-in unit, about an hour, and corrected to within 0.2 mph the first try!
That's close enough for me. Thanks for making a great product.
Don,
GL1800 ('05)
hi my name is Don and i have a 05
Goldwing ....i got the healer and life is good now. my bike was 7.5% off and now
its right on and even tho a 1800 cc bike doesn't need more speed. it sure fells
like it got a huge jump in horse power. thanks
David, R1 ('05)
I just wanted to let you know that your
product works great! Easy to install, and easy to calibrate. Also just to let
you know, when I installed the SH I put it in "transparent mode" I was going to
run it up to 189mph in 6th and use the GPS to calibrate but when I did the tach
just kept going, the top speed limiter was gone. I have ran it up before and the
tach used to stop at 13,200rpm @189mph. But now with the SH I looked down it was
at 14,100rpm! I would recommend this to someone even with a stock bike just for
the limiter being gone & to fix factory speedo error. Great product.
John, GL1800 ('06)
Before installing the SH on my new Goldwing, my speedometer was off about 3.5
mph and 2.8 miles/100. After installing and programming my unit (for odo
accuracy), my speed discrepancy dropped to about 1.5 mph to the legal side and
the odometer discrepancy is less than .2 miles/100. Quite an improvement I must
say. What I had originally, was not a big deal short term, but if this is my
last bike, I intend to put a lot of miles on it and accuracy is important.
Thanks again
Jason, FZ1 ('06)
I just wanted to drop you guys a quick
note to say I am completely satisfied with the SpeedoHealer! Installation was
straight-forward with no hick-ups. The SpeedoHealer corrected both my incorrect
stock calibration (+5%) as well as a 17/45 to 16/45 gear change (with new
tires). After I set the SpeedoHealer to a -10.8 calibration, my speedometer is
spot on at every speed - GPS verified! Thanks for a great product!
Amie
Thank you! I had been looking at other speed correction products and chose this
one because of the ease of set up and installation and accuracy. It took me
about 1/2 hour to install it from opening the package, reading the instructions
to setting the switches. I used my palm TX that has GPS to check it out and
figured I would have to come home and re calibrate it at least once. I didn't
have to! The on line calculator did it the first time since I knew from using my
GPS prior, the actual amount my speedometer was off. I later found out that
Yamaha runs them high with an allowable 10% inaccuracy! This is truly a good way
to fix my speedometer! Thank you very much!
Shawn, VTX1300 Retro ('06)
I
found out after I put a little over 8,000 miles on my bike that my speedometer
was showing 7MPH faster than I was really traveling. Thats great that I didn't
have to worry about speeding tickets, but was horrible that it showed several
hundred miles more on the odometer than I had really traveled. I purchased the
speedo healer about 3 weeks ago from xxx, it took me about 45 minutes to
install, & now my speedometer is reading exact mileage per a GPS module. I
really didn't want to spend $95 for the unit, but once I received the product I
quickly realized that I was paying for a quality piece of equipment. Excellent
product & keep up the good work!
Roger, DL1000 ('05)
From new, the bike had a 9% error before I changed the rear sprocket by one
tooth, which put the error out to over 10%. The only solution was to fit a
Speedohealer. The unit was breeze to install and calibrate, using the online
calculator. The indication is smooth and accurate and the max speed button is
great. I would recommend the SH to anyone who is looking for reliable accuracy.
Dennis, Hayabusa ('02)
I
know I’m preaching to the choir but the SH worked without a hitch. You online
calculator was great, and a printout to boot.
Tori, VFR ('03)
Hey Guys,..... just installed my SH on my VFR.... Basically, i'd just like to
repeat everything everyone below has stated. Thanks!
James, Hayabusa ('06)
I
have a friend who is in the highway patrol and i went by him when it displayed
50 mph on my speedo. He captured me at 44. With a -12% value i entered in the SH
and its working perfect right now. Thanks again.
Dennis, Hayabusa ('02)
It
was so easy! I established the error with my Garmin 295, used your online
calculator, and bingo. System was also verified with GPS. Thanks for a great
product!!!
David, GL1800 ('07)
The SpeedHealer is an excellent product. It was exceptionally easy to install
and configure. It corrected the speed on my 07 Wing. The speedometer was off by
5 MPH at 70 MPH. The speedometer is now accurate from around 20 MPH to 80 MPH. I
would highly recommend this device to anyone who owns a motorcycle who
speedometer is incorrect due to the manufacturer’s error or modifications to the
bike.
Otniel, Hayabusa ('06)
I just want to let you
and everyone else that your product (speedohealer) is the best calibrator there
is. One time and my busa is now 100 % perfect. I would not only buy it again for
another bike, but I will recommend speedohealer to anyone anywhere. Easy to
install, easy calculator and the best customer service ever. Thank you so much
for this nice experience.
R1-forum.com (R.D.), R1 ('04)
The Yellow box is good. But the Speedo
Healer is better in VERY MANY WAYS, starting with the install.
R1-forum.com (J.F.), R1 ('04)
I was about 8% off from factory... After
I went to 16T in the front I was about 12.5% off. With Speedohealer I'm dead-on
at 80mph (45sec between mile markers). Super easy to install and the top-speed
function is cool... cept for having to leave the key on to use it.
gixxer.com
(H.W.), GSXR750 ('02)
I have been using a speed healer for the
last 6000 miles not one problem. Plus its dead on. I like the fact I know I'm
speeding.
zx-10r.net (E.D.), ZX10R ('04)
It's worth every penny. I can't imagine
anything else short of NOS or a turbo makin' the 10 as insane as the 16t/SpeedoHealer
combo. For just over $100 for the sprocket and SH I agree that this simply has
to be the best bang for the buck available for a 10R.
hayabusa.org
(O.Z.), Hayabusa ('03)
The speedo on a Busa is out between
7-10% buy a speedohealer or a yellowbox to correct it. In my opinion the
speedohealer is the best: more range, just as robust, cheaper and has a top
speed recall function.
sportbikes.net
(F.), FZ6 ('04)
I'd buy two SHs before I bought an xxx.
It's nice to know how fast you are going over the speed limit before you decide
whether or not to run.
sportbikes.net
(R.), FZ6 ('04)
I feel it is well worth the money ... My
bike is now as close to accurate as it can possibly be AND if I want to change
sprockets I can and recalibrate in a matter of minutes. It is not a difficult
install and I too would buy a SpeedoHealer again before an xxx... My 2 Cents.
sportbikes.net
(W.), FZ6 ('04)
the
speedohealer definitely works and is worth the money. it corrected my speedo and
odometer. if you were ever to trade it in you would more than get more money
back for have few or the correct number of miles on the bike. my speedo was off
11 percent. at 10000 miles that means i had only gone 9900 miles. ultimately it
keeps you where the bike is supposed to be. i have talked with some people that
just like to see the speedo read 150 plus. but if you are not actually doing it,
what is the point?
hayabusa.org
(J.), Hayabusa
I am HEALED..., ...or at least my speedo
is. I just installed the SpeedoHealer. Very easy install, great product, and
fantastic support. I had a question, and I got a response in less than an hour
(this was at 10PM). If any of you are trying to decide between the Yellowbox and
the SpeedoHealer, one nifty option that the SH has is a highest speed.
Press a button and your speedo displays your last highest speed. Kinda cool/kind
gimmicky.
